Villa Del Palmar Resort And Spa

This place was in a great location but our view was not what we expected. The pool below our balcony was under construction. Very loud. Lots of noise.

The price was great and the hotel met my expectations. The food in the restaurants weren't four star for the money just average.

We have stayed in other Villa Del Palmar resorts, so knew what to expect - we were very satisfied except for the noisy people on spring break late at night.

I don't think this hotel/time share type give privacy to their customers. They spy on people of what we're doing, where we're going. Not a great place to stay if what you want is relaxing and peace and quite and an alone time. ...read more

15 minute walk to center of town. Local buses available at bottom of hill. Cost for workout room was $10 per day. Nice machines. On the beach.

This resort is really quite nice. The room was large, nicely appointed and provided a full kitchen setup if one wanted to do their own cooking. If not, the hotel restaurants offered some very reasonable prices as did the on site grocery store. Hotel was nice good location on the beach and to the city. Was not pleased our room was overlooking the taxi drop off when it said garden view?

Pretty location and lovely hotel, but beware of which room you may be assigned. Our patio was directly off the parking lot and our room the first room next to the lobby.
